About Me

I once helped to dig up the skeleton of a million year old,
30 ton brontosaurus dinosaur
and worked as an archaeologist unearthing the remains of an ancient Roman villa near Pompeii, Italy.
I ran a marathon and summited the Grand Teton.
I descended a 200' overhang repel,
swam through Class 4 rapids just for fun,
and spent 5 semesters abroad in college
traveling to 16 countries in all.
I have stood on top of the Eiffel tower,
cruised the canals of Venice,
journeyed into the tombs of the Great Pyramids of Egypt,
and spent four months living on a hill-top in Jerusalem.
I have taught a college-level class at a major University
and successfully defended my Masters Thesis just three months
after giving birth to my beautiful son.

While I have sought after the upmost
experiences this life can offer,
becoming a stay-at-home mom has been the richest and
most rewarding of them all.
I am grateful for each day that I am able to see the world afresh and anew through the eyes of my children. . .

. . .To see again the wonder of grass and trees and birds,
the magic of patty-cake and peek-a-boo,
the thrill of puppy dog tails and picture books,

and to know that no matter what season of life I am in,
there is a sweetness to be savored and adventure to be had.

Our little family lived in Glendale, Arizona while my husband attended dental school. We moved to South Carolina afterwards, where my husband completed a residency program. We are currently living in Seoul, South Korea!

  2. That's wonderful, Annie. I have often wondered where you landed after leaving Glendale. Lora and I miss visiting you :) I look forward to reading about your adventures and seeing pictures of your littles.
